There are several different kinds of jobs that we need help with. On your registration form please list, in order, the jobs you would prefer to do. This is only a guideline for us, we cannot however guarantee that you will be doing only what you prefer. We have to place people where the help is needed, in order to see that every meal is cooked on time. 

 

There is always the chance that your absolute favorite workshop is being held at a time when you have work trade scheduled. Because of the difficulty in organizing this, and our business during the festival as organizers, we do not make scheduling changes. However, you are always welcome to trade shifts among each other, just make sure this is signed off on the schedule sheet please. 

 

1. Kitchen 

This is most needed help and where most of the shifts will be. This basically means chopping veggies for the meals. And then doing dishes afterward. There will be lunch and dinner shifts. 

 

1. Chai Tent 

This means preparing tea and coffee!! Yeah! There will be morning, afternoon, and evening shifts (after dinner). 

 

1. Fire duty 

This means carrying wood and keeping the evening bonfire going. These are only 2-hour shifts. 

 

1. Kids Animation 

This means entertaining kids for 4 hours. This is an idea we have to give the parents a little free times. We will only be offering this if we have enough volunteers for the kitchen and chai tent, as that’s most important. Please let us know if you have experience with kids.
